Air Jordan 2 Retro Melo White University Blue Varisty Maize

Even though in 2004 Carmelo Anthony was wearing his first signature sneaker on Jordan Brand, the Melo 1.5, he still wore numbered Air Jordan models from time-to-time. This is one of the colorways inspired by Carmelo Anthony in the colorway of his team the Denver Nuggets. These were a very limited release at the time - only being available at urban accounts. The only difference between this released version and the ¡°PE¡± version Carmelo wore is that his have his name and number stitched on them. They feature a white leather upper with faux lizard skin, and blue and yellow accents. The Air Jordan 2 (II) were not as popular as originals, but sold much better as retros. The only knock on them is that the midsole is very soft, causing them to wear out quickly.
